Data we process

• Server log data (IP address, date/time, requested page, browser/device information) collected automatically when you visit the site.
• Contact form data (name, email address, message) when you contact us.
• Analytics and marketing data (only with your consent, see below).
• Data stored locally in your browser (saved jobs, language, theme, cookie consent) — this never leaves your device.

Server logs & hosting

Our website is hosted by Hostinger (Hostinger International Ltd.) on a server within the EU. Technically necessary log data is processed on access. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the hosting provider. Contact form (Resend)

When you use the contact form, your message is delivered to us via the email service Resend (Resend, Inc., USA). The data you enter is transmitted. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR. Transfer to the USA is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We use your data solely to handle your request.

Maps (OpenFreeMap)

To display the interactive map we use OpenFreeMap with the MapLibre GL library. When map tiles load, your IP address is transmitted to the tile server, which is technically necessary. No tracking cookies are set. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a functioning map (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Consent & cookie banner (Consent Mode)

Analytics and marketing services are only loaded after you consent in the cookie banner. We use Google Consent Mode v2: until you decide, all non-essential storage is disabled. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the banner or by clearing local data. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 165(3) TKG 2021).

Google Analytics 4 & Google Tag Manager

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, loaded via Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited), to analyse usage of our website on a pseudonymised basis in order to improve it. Data may be transferred to Google in the USA (EU Standard Contractual Clauses). IP addresses are processed in truncated form. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Google Ads (conversion & remarketing)

With your consent we use Google Ads to measure the effectiveness of our advertising (conversion tracking) and to show you relevant ads (remarketing). Data may also be transferred to Google in the USA. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Retention period

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations. Contact requests are deleted once they have been fully processed.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You may withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. To do so, contact office@jobsmap.at.
